Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, Top Ten Tuesday invites bookish bloggers to share lists based on a given topic. This week, I’m highlighting the top ten bookish settings I’d LOVE to visit!
Top Ten Tuesday is always hard for me – I go blank every week for a bit and feel like I’ve never read anything! LOL! Well, we’ll see what I can churn out this week – I know there are bookish places I’m dying to visit…
The Yule Ball [Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling] – so I can wear Hermione’s dress!
Imperial Russia [Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman by Robert K. Massie] – because Russia fascinates me!
Tortall [Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce] – just to tag along with Alanna to and see the beautifully ancient sites described by Pierce!
Torte [Meet Your Baker by Ellie Alexander] – to inhale all the delightful-sounding pastries and coffee!
Oz [Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige] – yes, to the creepy Oz!
River Heights [The Secret of the Old Clock by Carolyn Keene] – where wholesome mysteries abound!
Jurassic Park [Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton] – except I want the dinosaurs to stay INSIDE their pens!
The Night Circus [The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern] – circus tent city!
The Sherlock Holmes Bookshop [Elementary, She Read by Vicky Delany] – it’s a bookshop!
Manderley [Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier] – “Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again…”
